Departure
Departure is a photographic study of both the 'Beeching Axe' report of 1963, designed to cut costs of the national railway network by closing many smaller financially draining branch lines, and the effects this had on Cornwall’s mining industry.

The Royals
The Royal Family in past had a very high stature within society, however today their existence is in demise. This project looks at the relationship of the Royal Family within society, and particularly within Cornwall. The county of Cornwall is a Duchy, fundamentally run by a Duke, Prince Charles. The duke owns a lot of land within the county, renting most of it out, producing his own personal revenue.

Tremor
Following a previous project, a keen development of interest in the local landscape of Cornwall has grown. From this, a combination of scientific and geologic responses to earthquakes within the county spurred a visual reaction to potentially unknown and sporadic tectonic activity underfoot. The serenity within the images lies in juxtaposition to the disastrous consequence that is so oft associated with this particular uncontrollable natural disaster.
